Olympic Peninsula Guided Steelhead and Salmon Fishing
The Clearwater River is located in one of the most remote areas in Washington State. It flows from the center of the Olympic Mountains, and is part of the legendary Queets River watershed.
This river is wild in many ways. The rapids and boulder gardens require an experienced oarsman (we’ve got one of those). This river is managed as a strictly Wild Steelhead river (there are plenty of those too). If you float from the very top access point down to the mouth, you will drift past a total of two houses in 25 miles. This is a favorite location for us from February through April.
